Who owns Stay Memphis?

Stay Memphis is a small, local, family-owned business run by Kevin and Holly. We started in 2014 by hosting a bedroom in our own house, and over time restored and designed homes across Memphis to share the city with travelers. We live here, and our cleaning and guest team is right down the road.

Where are your vacation rentals?

Our vacation rentals are in Memphis, Tennessee, in neighborhoods including Cooper Young, Central Gardens, the Broad Avenue Arts District, Colonial Acres, Joffre, Highpoint and near the University of Memphis. Several Cooper Young homes are walkable to the neighborhood's restaurants and coffee shops.

How many guests can your homes sleep?

Our homes sleep from 2 to 18 guests. For big groups, New Architectural Dream has 8 bedrooms and sleeps 18, and Heated Pool Mid-Century Oasis has 6 bedrooms and sleeps 16. Skylight Paradise and Pool Paradise each sleep 12. Each listing page shows its exact bedrooms, beds and maximum occupancy.

Do any of your homes have a pool?

Yes, two. Heated Pool Mid-Century Oasis has a heated saltwater pool with a waterfall and a huge playground in a fenced backyard. Pool Paradise: Mid Mod Luxury Oasis has a private pool in a fenced backyard on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Are your homes pet-friendly?

Most are. Pets are not allowed at 1907 Designer Estate, Bright Open Plan Mid Century Modern Ranch, or Designer Skylight Serenity. Each listing's House Rules show whether pets are welcome.

Are your homes good for families with kids?

Children are welcome at most of our homes, and several have a crib. Mid Century Heaven and New Architectural Dream are listed as not suitable for children. Check each listing's House Rules for details.

How old do you have to be to book?

The primary renter must be at least 25.

What are the check-in and checkout times?

Check-in and checkout times vary by home. They're shown on each listing page and in your booking confirmation.

How does check-in work?

Most of our homes have keyless self check-in with a smart lock, and one uses a lockbox. Each listing page shows its check-in method under House Rules.

What is included in every stay?

Every home includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning and central heat, linens and towels, a hair dryer and iron, a clothes dryer, and a kitchen. Smoking is not allowed at any of our homes.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy for direct bookings: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 45 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 10 days away at time of booking.

Is there a minimum stay?

Minimum stays vary by home and by dates.

Are there extra fees or a security deposit?

All fees and any deposit are shown upfront at checkout, before you book.

Are parties or events allowed?

No. Parties and events are not allowed at any of our homes.
